for our 4th Annual Conference!
This two-day conference will cover
information important for engineers, floodplain managers,
emergency management officials, code officials, planners and
other professionals involved in floodplain management. The
conference begins with an opening from Larry Larson,
executive director of the ASFPM, followed by two days of jam
packed, hands-on discussion of floodplain management. We
are bringing in the best and brightest speakers both locally
and from around the country. The plenary and concurrent
sessions will address many topics of importance to New
Jersey, including both riverine and coastal issues.

exhibitor area has been expanded and will be able to
accommodate the size of our growing annual conference.

you have something that you would like to share, we
encourage you to give a presentation at one of our 15
concurrent sessions. The conference schedule has room for
up to 45, 20-minute presentations! This is a great
opportunity to share your work with colleagues and clients
in New Jersey. To be considered, please submit a short
abstract and send or email it with the
call for presentations form to my attention.

***A Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM)
exam will be given on the 2nd day of the conference. Those
wishing to take the exam need to register through ASFPM (www.floods.org).
CFM is a certification established by ASFPM to improve the
knowledge and abilities of floodplain managers in the United
States.***
